Web sites can be displayed and read aloud in their original format, or in a highly modifiable text-only view. WYNN also provides tools to facilitate comprehension and retention.

In order to determine what features might be useful for persons with learning disabilities, WYNN was developed with input from researchers from Syracuse University and educators in the DSP&S program at UC Berkeley.  It is possible to purchase the program without the scanning capabilities.
